Open thread for following the election results tonight. Several states results maybe cliff hangers and go into recounts (e.g. Washington, Nevada, and Alaska). First bit of news: ABC News has fired Andrew Brietbart from its election coverage tonight.

She forced O'Donnell instead of Castle and cost the GOP what would otherwise have been an easy seat. She did the same with the likes of Sharron Angle, and Haley's victory was by a surprisingly thin margin for South Carolina, the USA's most backward state for Palin to have supposedly rescued her. In any case, the Senate belongs to the Progressives and fairly won at that.
