If G.O.P. Loses Hold on Congress, Trump Warns, Democrats Will Enact Change ‘Quickly and Violently’

..."Mr. Trump acknowledged to the evangelical leadership that his conservative base may not turn out at the polls in big numbers for Republican congressional candidates because he is not on the ballot in November."

Dear President Trump,

I think, Sir, that you are absolutely correct. Voters may not turn out to support Republican candidates if you aren't on the ballot. I think, to help the Republican party, you should demand that Congress reduce your term of office to two years so you can be up for reelection this fall and truly help make America great again. Again.

Don't let anyone tell you that you might not get re-elected. No Democrats would be running. And given the choice between you and no one, the choice for all sensible Americans is clear.

Sincerely,
Someone who totally wants to vote for you this fall. Yep.

Ps. Oh, and don't be scared of all that violence. I'm sure your folks can handle it. They're so good with guns, after all.

His main concern about these midterms is that if the Dems regain power of the House, he'll be in all sorts of legal trouble for the rest of his term.

He's just stayin' on message. If there's one thing evangelicals can understand, it's violence!
