Yep, I'm speaking of a whole chunk of the political establishment, and beyond.

GOP Tells Obama to Ignore Congress One Day After Suing Him for Ignoring Congress
"On Wednesday, House Republicans sued President Obama for acting on his own without approval from Congress. On Thursday, House Republicans told President Obama he should act on his own to fix the border crisis."

Really, what better proof that Boehner and his cohorts are a heap of lying pieces of shit with no moral standards of their own? My hypocrite-meter has just exploded.

Are those guys demented, or so out of touch, or just they don't give a flying bird's dropping about how they're being perceived by the public any more? And why would they care, since they keep getting elected into Conress anyway.

Meanwhile, here are some pieces of food for thought for the teahadist segment of the audience.

Detention: No Place for Children or Families

On the Border, Who Gets to Be a Refugee?

Convention relating to the Status of Refugees

Where did the meme of helping thy neighbor suddenly go? Didn't Jesus say to not do to others what you wouldn't want to be done to you? Do international human rights conventions count for anything to those people, or is the jingoist "don't meddle in our domestic stuff" really trump the "we're the greatest nation on Earth, paragon of freedom" meme at this point, no matter what?

And as a dessert to this pile of stinking carrion, there's this...

The KKK Wants a ‘Shoot to Kill’ Policy to Include Migrant Children

Btw, Robert Jones, "KKK Imperial Wizard"? WTF!?

That is the Imperial Wizard that's going to save the superior race from dangerous Guatemalan children who need to be shot to get rid of? -->

So much with the "nation of builders", Boehner.

Your plan would work in cases where people didn't urgently need to get out of the place where they've had their lives threatened on a daily basis. By the time their turn comes, many of them would be dead, enslaved, or worse.

Then they can go to an intermediate destination or claim refugee status.

There are already frameworks in place for this sort of thing, they're simply being bypassed because the Democrats want cheap votes and their bank-rollers want cheap labor.

Says the one who's self-admittedly using fallacies just for the sake of arguing. I see. All right then.

It's not a fallacy, see: "for the sake of argument (http://idioms.thefreedictionary.com/for+the+sake+of+argument)"

Eric Holder cited Republican-backed voting restrictions like voter ID laws. Though they're justified as preventing fraud, he said, "these policies disproportionately disenfranchise African-Americans, Hispanics, other communities of color, and vulnerable populations such as the elderly.

"Interfering with or depriving a person of the right to vote should never be a political aim," Holder added. "It is a moral failing."

Ad hom is yet another fallacy that you like to employ regularly, no?

Eric Holder's status as a scandal magnet is well documented (http://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2014/08/03/public-servants-masters-cia-sentors-privacy-column/13542065/).

I don't think this constitutes an answer to my statement in any way, and neither does it address the point he's making, merely attempting to dismiss it out of hand, solely based on the person who's making it.

Ergo, ad hominem.

Do you ever tire of these fallacies?

I am suggesting that anything that Holder says about "moral failings" or "depriving a person of the right to vote should never be a political aim" is coming from a guy who a has a history voter manipulation, and using regulatory agencies to achieve political ends.

It's like going to an adulterer for relationship advice.

coming from a guy who a has a history voter manipulation,

History and "evidence" that seems to be only found on far right conservative websites. (http://www.marshallfrank.com/articles/2012/08/voter-manipulation-and-the-despicable-eric-holder/)

Are we considering USA Today, and the Wall Street Journal to be "fringe" publications now?

'Cause if so I'd appreciate it if you'd arbitrarily dismiss anything you hear from the talking heads at MSNBC or CNN.

First, that's still an ad hominem which in no way addresses the issue that's being put forward. Your "just saying" doesn't do the job, either.

And second, citation needed for those allegations. And do try to use several independent sources that are not FOX or Mises, if possible.
