Friend of mine says there is another side of medal: FOXnews in the US, which is pro-right media, and having highest ratings among News channels...

Also, I think the common problem nowadays in all developed countries, that they're trying hard to keep their own identity (hello, Brits), at same time being over-flooded with immigrants of many nations.
Simply don't go too much Left promoting PCness and giving your pensions to illegal immigrants, and don't go too much Right closing borders(hi, Brits) and focusing on internal affairs and nationalism (becoming, in fact, blind to outer world)

FOX may have the highest number of viewers but before market fragmentation all these channels would have been canned for lack of viewers, while the totality of all viewers of political channels is in the decisive minority of people in the USA as a whole. And as far as Western nations bitching about immigrants, if the English and Scots dislike immigrants they're welcome to go back to Saxony and Ireland and Greater Cumbria shall live again. While the USA would resort to being ruled by 300 Indian tribes and everything from the Atlantic to North Africa to Volga-Archangelsk by the Germans and Scandinavians.

The thing of note that the video brings up and should be discussed is how anything that is regressive or dangerous in immigrant culture can not be discussed because any criticism of it is considered racist, bigoted, or just plain assholish.

Mainstream television and cable news media, regardless of ideological slant, caters to a lowest common denominator audience. Most people who slavishly follow Glenn Beck or Keith Olbermann don't really have the faintest idea how government, politics, or economics work, possess nary an opinion of their own that they haven't heard from somewhere else, and couldn't point out Iraq or Afghanistan on a map. Members of the target audience merely parrot the angry talking points they hear spouted off, and think that in so doing they are smarter than their opponents.

In other words, the typical viewer of mainstream TV and cable news is:

Actually, the BBC is pretty much the 'One Nation Tory' broadcasting system: inclusive, rather fond of David Cameron, prepared to accuse the Guardian of trying to close down the News of the World, and put its journalists out of jobs.

Oh, Pat Condell is so bizarre, anyone who takes him seriously undoubtedly has similar problems with, um, people of different cultures, rather than the actions of some folk from whatever culture, including the UK's 'indigenous' people.

Just out of interest, do you realise that the UK, because of its history, numbers of invasions starting with the Celts taking land away from the Picts, and right up to its globe spanning empire, has one of the most ethnically mixed cultures in the world.
