I respect the way that other people configure their TP when I visit. I personally do not like an under-hang, but I understand why people prefer it.

I find it rolls easier from an underhang position.

One preference I heard is one of familiarity: that is the way their parents did it. Another one was that their kid would spin the paper and it would wind up on the floor if they used an over hang.
