I have to admit I've got a lot of egg on my face. I'm going to ask htpcl 's possum to lick it off me. Have any of the rest of the folk on here got things that upon reflection, or with subsequent information, wished they hadn't written; or positions they wish they hadn't backed?

Plenty of times. I've been wrong and I've sometimes said the wrong thing or ignorant things (not always the same thing but often the two are).
