What are the odds that this gets a LOT worse by the traditional spring time offensive season when a young general's fancy turns to invasion?

Brief timeline:

North Korea is accused of torpedoing a South Korean warship.

South Korea fires at North Korean fishing boats crossing the maritime border North Korea refuses to recognize.

North Korea is revealed to have highly modern facilities for nuclear material enrichment.

Not to mention, North Korea is facing the challenge of passing along the regime to a third generation of the Kim family.

North Korea is known for rattling its sabre and demanding to have attention paid to it when it is being ignored, but this is looking like a very different than recent years -- South Korea really has to retaliate...and half of South Korea's population lives in the Seoul metropolitan area within artillery range of the DMZ.

So a question -- is North Korea suicidal or are they betting that this behavior can get them some more winter grain shipments?

No, I mean the German Empire of Otto I and Friedrich I Barbarossa. And Germany was rebuilding from 1922 with Soviet help, first with the Treaty of Rapallo and second with the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact. I get that Soviet apologists, be they Yankees or Russians don't like bringing those two up, but there's a certain dark comedy in Soviet Russia helping to fashion the very military machine that killed 10 million Soviets.

The Medieval HREGN was about the size of the Empire Hitler created before he turned on his Soviet ally and thereby ensured he got his ass handed to them. In fact I daresay that without US logistical aid the Soviets would have had a stalemate at best and Germany would be green glass today.

According to Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazi_Germany:
Nazi Germany, or the Third Reich, is the common name for the country of Germany while governed by Adolf Hitler and his National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP) from 1933 to 1945. Third Reich (German: Drittes Reich) denotes the Nazi state as a historical successor to the medieval Holy Roman Empire (962–1806) and to the modern German Empire (1871–1918). Nazi Germany had two official names, the Deutsches Reich (German Reich), from 1933 to 1943, when it became Großdeutsches Reich (Greater German Reich).

I think I was correct. The last reincarnation of the Roman Empire started from 1933, when Hitler have become the Chancellor. And I don't understand the relationship between last reincarnation of the Roman Empire and Soviet help. Yes, there was trades, there was agreements. Nazis killed 27 million Soviets in total (an official estimate, 8m military and 19m civil). And yes, US landlease helped us a lot.
