The princess of Redneckistan recently attacked her president for his lack of "nucular" experience. In its typically biased fashion, the Associated Press reported her speaking American English rather than Rednecki. (BTW, I was fascinated to hear media critic Reese Erlich use the Rednecki word.)

With her own treasure trove of vast nucular experience, Princess Palin proclaimed the Rednecki military policy of nuking nations who use nasty weapons. What she actually said was along the lines that a good Rednecki would never assert restraint in the use of horribly toxic high energy burst weapons of mass destruction on an enemy who used weapons of lesser destructiveness.

For those who doubt the viciousness of the lovely princess, this incident should nail the lid on the coffin. How do you feel about the promise of another Rednecki in the Oval Office with her finger on the nuclear trigger? What is your opinion on the biased reporting of the AP?

(Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to be a class issue, unless one class prefers diplomacy and another class prefers to nuke 'em 'til they glow.)

heh, yeah, i remember back when it was not-so-serious. Hell, I remember when the show had Craig Kilborn as the host.

If the topic of the week gets round to it (or if I get the energy to do it regardless) there are a series of interviews he has with people about waterboarding that are the best I've seen on the matter and I want to post and see what the right-wingers object to about him.

I mean, aside from what their Fox News masters tell them to object to.

Not quite. The nuclear dealing Reagan had were very specific. They were entirely contingent on Russian cooperation and designed to not cut deep into our defense while getting Russia to scale back. His work on IRBM's was genius. Keeping English and French IRBM's off the table while getting rid of our mostly worthless stockpile was a good move.

Reagan rejected a Soviet call for the total disarmament of all missiles. Namely because his goal wasn't a proportional disarmament but rather getting the Soviets to drop their strengths while still keeping ours.

they are crazy... basically ukraine is rich in uranium but they don't enrich it themselves to use in their own nuclear plants or export it to europe, they buy it from russia. and now they completely forgo what could have been a good source of income in energy trading.

What? Our policy came out on April 6 (http://www.defense.gov/npr/docs/2010%20Nuclear%20Posture%20Review%20Report.pdf) (see p. viii). Palin's comments were on April 7. (http://blogs.abcnews.com/thenote/2010/04/palin-says-obamas-nuke-stance-is-like-a-kid-who-says-punch-me-in-the-face-.html)

When a black comedian tells "you might be a negroid if..." jokes, that line might work.

I don't think the policy changed. The document I linked has the parts about biological weapons and non-NPT nations.

Oh come on. As president he has staff and consultant expertise at his disposal. He gets advice from experts not nitwits like Palin.

Any term can be used as an epithet. Foxworth isn't using it as an insult. And there is a prominent comedian that has a routine about the difference between black folks and... that other term.
