Who owns Identity politics?

talkpoliticsThe whole "Left loves identity politics" line doesn't make sense to me at all. The Right fucking LOVES identity politics. In fact they play it waaaay better then the Left ever seems to. Think about it.
Everything the Left does is "Socialism" to them. Universal Healthcare? That's socialist! Regulating guns? Socialist!"
And because of it the Left feels the need to spend half its damn time either arguing Socialism is not that bad or arguing that it's not Socialist. Some people are so scared of that stupid label that they'd rather vote for a candidate whose policies they agree less with simply because that candidate doesn't appear as Socialist.
Another identity they control us with is one they somehow claimed themselves. Being "Pro Life". How the hell is being anti abortion pro life? Banning abortion doesn't stop abortions. It just makes them dangerous. If you were pro life you'd want to stop abortions by making them less necessary. You'd be supporting easier more affordable access to birth control for women and you'd be preaching teaching better safe sex education in schools and advocating for stronger, harsher punishments for rapists and to teach boys to keep their hands to themselves. THAT IS ANTI ABORTION. Not banning them so women are stuck injuring themselves at some crazy illegitimate clinic in Mexico.
And what's the Left stuck with while the Right gets to be "Pro-Life"?
Pro fucking choice. What the hell is that shit. And we have to fight for it back and forth just to keep it from being called "Pro abortion." Pro fucking choice. Jesus christ. Self autonomy should not be something you have to be PRO choice on. It should be a fucking giveн. The government doesn't need to control anyone's bodies, men or women. Pro choice people should be called Pro Life, and Pro Life people should have to be named "Supporters of the Government killing you".
Fucking labels. And "The Left is obsessed with identity politics". HA.

Social programs.... Well, no explanation needed. They exist in our lives every day and are the bane of bipartisan, collective existence.
I was unhappy with naming the movement Democratic socialism. I knew that even the left would have trouble discerning between the two and the right would make political fodder out of the terminology.
