The military-industrial complex is now run by women
"The CEOs of four of the five biggest defense contractors are women. Watch Ali Velshi break down who is running Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics, Boeing’s defense wing, and weapons negotiations for the U.S."

Hmmmm, now this is interesting. We have heard for at least 50 years that when women get this kind of power they would be different, kinder, gentler and less warlike than men have been.

As I recall Hillary was quite hawkish.

I have always been skeptical about that theory that says all or most violence, especially war, comes from men.

There are hundreds of huge examples to the contrary spread throughout history.

Take WWII for example. Or for that matter, let's just look at white supremacy. One should have no problem seeing clearly that white supremacy, which has been responsible for 2 of the biggest, most bloody war's in recent human history,is not gender specific.

Those women who support white supremacy are just as violent as the men who perform most of the violent acts that we associate with white supremacy. They teach it to their sons and daughters.

Unfortunately for all of us, the simplistic feminists theory about violence and its source is way wrong. These women are not going to change the military imdustrial complex. Trillions have been lost and their budget was increased, which is good for the bottomline.

Nothing is gonna stop that train.

Radfems aren't very radical in their thinking at all, when you break it down. They believe that men are naturally violent and predatory, and women are naturally gentle and peace-loving, because of hormones or chromosomes or whatever they're yelling about at any moment. This is the exact thinking that violent men use to justify their actions and our supposed superiority. With the added bonus of letting women who actually are abusive and dangerous get away with hurting others because then it's just "girl power".

One could also point out that women spent the bulk of the 18th Century ruling the old-model Ancien Regime societies in their swansong. I wouldn't call Maria Theresa, Elizabeth, and Catherine II of Russia particularly pacific. Nor for that matter the likes of Thatcher, Bhutto, Meir, or such have you.

I say that most of that belief relies on how few opportunities women have had to exercise any of the traits that men have had such opportunity to have and judging, wrongfully so, from a drastically limited experience.

One could also note (albeit this was more the result of Stalin's epic fails in the first two years of the Axis-Soviet War than choice) that women distinguished themselves in the Red Air Force and Soviet tank corps in that war, and were no less skilled in combat than the men were, nor less prone to relish it.

Women, in general, are probably more gentle. I don't think that's an unfair generalization - but 'in general' isn't 100%, there are exceptions.

I also assume anyone, male or female, that gets to the top of a billion dollar corporation has probably stepped on some toes, if not stomped on some heads.

In this case, generalization #2 beats out generalization #1.

Let’s all repeat today’s mantra:

There are greater differences among the sexes than there are between the sexes.
