On the Nature of Truth

Some people argue that it is impossible to know the truth, so why bother trying. Others read a sentence in a collection of ancient literature that tells them that the truth will set them free. They assume that they are free, so it follows that they already know the truth. If you already know the truth, there is no reason to look for it. Their whole paradigm is based a a faulty initial assumption.
Let us consider the basic structure of truth. We start out with a misconception and we assume that it is true. ( It's not that long, but I cut it anyway... )
