Bannon, obviously.

As declarations of intent go this is pretty telling.
As my mad chum would say, in his rhyming way
Is Bannon
A loose cannon?
So, being the resident TP odds-setter and bookie my questions are:
If there is war, how soon will it take to go nuclear?
Will there be much collateral damage to Europe, apart from nuclear winter, the loss of crops, and the disintegration of the world economy?
And how will Bannon and Trump manage to blame it all on illegal immigrants, asylum-seekers and other folk with pigmentation divergent from Mr Bannon's ideals?

Date: 2/2/17 19:18 (UTC)I may however regard their opinions as not being worth very much. Especially as the Told-You-So crowd were comprehensively rubbished in no uncertain terms. If anyone has the right to be sarky, it ain't those who did the rubbishing.
And also, I'm rather counting on good sense from the Chinese, who seem a sensible people. And who know, unless Trump completely undermines the US constitution, that he has a max of eight years.
Chinese long term goals against a short-termist, myopic, and rather anti-expert Anglo-Saxon mentality? I'd back the Chinese being sensible and waiting until the stupidity subsides. Here's hoping.

Date: 2/2/17 19:29 (UTC)But given the OP is mine, the single response was to it, and your second response was directed at the initial response to my OP, there is a chain of corollaries which link logically. It's a bit like dependent clauses writ large. I can't help thinking like that.
But now you have cleared it up I shall try to avoid making that mistake again.

They’re taking their sandbars and making basically stationary aircraft carriers and putting missiles on those. They come here to the United States in front of our face – and you understand how important face is – and say it’s an ancient territorial sea.”
Yes it was a year ago. And yes, he's a fucking insane fascist, so he can contradict himself from month to month and we still won't know if he means it or not.
But there is the stuff he has tried to do so far...
