2/4/16 17:04I know this has been a calm election season, with quiet, reserved candidates - sticking to the issues and not really giving us anything entertaining to work with.
Well, maybe that all changes now.
Supposedly, a lawyer for a woman who ran an escort service in the DC area, claims he has a previously unreleased phone record/client list that will 'shake up' the 2016 election - a list that has the potential to be released online, whenever he wants, or automatically - should something unfortunate happen to him. Most big name news agencies aren't running this yet - because they all adhere to the strictest journalistic and moral standards. (I'm kidding - graphics is already working on it, and as soon as they're fairly sure they can't be sued - this shit will probably be everywhere)
So, let's meet ourcandidates suspects;
John Kasich - A governor, meaning he probably hasn't spent as much time in the DC area as other candidates. Plus, if he talked and put the escort to sleep - it's very likely he would be charged for that extra time. I'll give him a 10% chance.
Bernie Sanders - A senator - putting him in the right place at the right time - but he was pushing 70 years of age and 30 years of marriage at the alleged time. Plus, if a $30,000 a plate fundraiser is obscene - well, he probably feels the same way about the alleged prices linked to this service. I'll also give him 10%.
Hillary Clinton - I suppose it could be Bill - but I'm not sure how that would hurt her - or why it would surprise anyone enough to claim things would be shaken up. 5%.
Donald Trump - Wouldn't rule it out because of character - but even with a prenup - it'd get too expensive - definitely not worth the risk. And as far as the election goes - would this really scare anyone away from him? I don't think his 'for' or 'against' numbers would move at all. 15%.
I'm sure you're all doing the math. There's only one candidate left - and according to the percentages I made up - he has an overwhelming lead with 60%.
Ted Cruz - Right place, right time - and definitely a surprise, as far as how he presents himself and how he wants himself to be perceived. And as far as the election goes - the #2 runner, gaining on #1 - winnable must-win states coming up - if it's him, it definitely qualifies as something that would 'shake' this election up.
I apologize for making all of you think about Ted Cruz having sex, but this place is about the issues - and this is an issue.
So, am I right? Do you disagree with any of my percentages? Did this change your vote? If it is him, should he get out in front of it, or deny it till the end?

Date: 3/4/16 02:40 (UTC)As far as timing goes - I give the edge to Kasich.

Date: 3/4/16 02:46 (UTC)The Madam is dead, and I think the lawyer was fired before she died. With Trump as his main opposition - he could probably claim he dialed the wrong number and people would at least pretend they believed him long enough for it not to matter anymore.
