Well, ain't that curious. The GOPian makers-and-breakers, the ultimate power-brokers actually do not want the GOP front-runner. They're... wait for it... "disappointed". And concerned. The horrors!
Koch brother: Trump plan would 'destroy free society'
"It is hard for me to get a high level of enthusiasm because the things I'm passionate about and I think this country urgently needs aren't being addressed," he explained.
You mean the economy, stupid? Yeah, how come nobody talks aboutpossible smart ways of protecting and multiplying your money and power the economy?
This is hilarious. Some call it a GOPian fall-out. An Armageddon, even. In any case, I find it quite intriguing. Especially the way the Tea-leaning Republican base are attacking the Koch Bros now, who've proven to be more powerful than the whole GOP, richer and with a bigger network. The Kochs, who are something like the Delphic Oracle, are giving off grave signals about Trump and Cruz and, in fact, all the other Rep prez wannabes - who, they find, are not dealing with the issues thatwould help further their agenda really matter. (Do tell.)
Should the GOPers be worried, I wonder? The Koch Rep dollar spigot may be getting a bit narrower. Maybe the Kochs are frustrated at the way their fave boy Gov. Walker was treated? Solution? Bring back Romney? Huntsman? Santorum? Graham? The establishment is watching you - and the Koch bros, too! Be scared. Be very scared. Boo!
These conservatives and Tea-partiers don't seem to understand the power of the Kochs, who quite evidently do not want Trump. Cons may've come to a point where they have to choose, and ask themselves whether they are a Koch Republican or a Trump Republican, so that they'll know which party to join after the GOP possibly splits this summer in Cleveland.
On the other hand, the Kochs & Co spent a billion dollars the last time, and Mittens still got creamed. This time around they're keeping the cards close to the vest until they have an idea which way the winds are blowing. Come convention time, if they're still "disappointed", they'll fold the tent and go home and not waste time and money on someone they can't buy. Although it's said everyone has a price they'd sell their soul for.
Whatever the case, just can't see the Kochs sitting on the sidelines this entire season. They're too stubborn to let someone else buy the White House.
