Probably the same old. They limit their missile tests and keep those nuke tests (I'm still skeptical about them having any) at bay for another couple of years. The US sends food and other aid.

It looks like the price was giving Kim what he wanted:
"Clinton expressed words of sincere apology to Kim Jong Il for the hostile acts committed by the two American journalists against the DPRK after illegally intruding into it,"

Basically, letting Kim claim that they were in the right all along, and say that the U.S. knows that the journalists were guilty, and that he let them go out of the goodness of his heart. Pretty much a complete win for him.

If he went over there and promised them more grain, or respect or anything else they want, really, then I say shame.
