I guess sometimes diplomacy works. Take THAT, naysayers!

Bill Clinton secures release of American journalists

Can any conservatives/Clinton haters just once give Bill some credit here and say he did a good thing? Please?

Lil Kim was afraid he'd end up like Vince Foster.

I'll give some love to Slick Willy. He may be a corporate suit but he's alright. As the article cites, it was likely a done deal before he left but still. Diplomacy, it just feels so good...

I congratulate former President Clinton on his successful effort to free the journalists being held in North Korea.

It depends. If he went over there smiled his most thoughtful and sincere smile and quietly told them to hand over the girls or else then I say good on him and good on Obama for making it happen. If he went over there and promised them more grain, or respect or anything else they want, really, then I say shame.

We might have to wait a while to find out.

I'm just going to say that Bill Clinton wasn't a half-bad president. Far from a saint, but far from the worse.

naysayers are working hard finding the cloud in the silver lining of the journalists being freed as in "this was done to insult Hilary," "this was a capitulation to North Korea." "this was done without input from the Obama administration so it can take no credit for it."
