How is Israel in the West Bank different in any way from the Soviet policy back in the Soviet era of settling Russians in non-Russophone territory or the Chinese Sinicizations of Tibet and Uighurstan?

It's a simple question, which will no doubt product convoluted and complex answers.

The United States is not weaponizing those in danger of losing territory, this time around? (Bah, I give up)

Anyhow, it seems to be the biggest problem with Palestinians vs Israelis is...

1.) They hate each other.
2.) They are neighbors.

The obvious and likely effective solution is the tried and true grade school method -- separate the brawling children and keep them far enough apart to avoid conflict. Anything else seems doomed to failure.

In the long run it would probably be cheaper to relocate ALL of the Palestinians to Greenland or someplace, than it will be to solve these issues with any lesser committed approach..

Ah, sorry. I do not know who the Mizrachi are. All I know is people have been fighting over Jerusalem and its respective territory, forever, as far back as the Crusades and, earlier The lesser conflicts are derived from the main conflict centering around Jerusalem in a historical sense. The warring, the strife, will never end, unless some extreme measure is taken.

Ergo, to talk about it as if it were a normal border or land dispute is out of context, I think. Its not that simple. To really get a clear picture requires that someone take into account history not only back to the 1960's or the last Gaza war, I think maybe they would have to go back centuries or milennia to avoid myopia..

Have you met any person forcefully relocated in Soviet Union?

Israeli system does not rely on forceful expulsion of current inhabitants, while soviet system was of murder and forced relocation of people from whole regions and settling russian personnel in their place.

Mostly the settlers came from areas devastated by WWII or in form of political activists coming to work on government projects after studies or army.

Normal population expansion to adjoining areas as opposed to uprooting people and putting them in areas for the sake of conquest?

Wouldn't the "simplicity" of the answer depend on whether or not one feels Israel earned the right to settle the area? Of course that could be applied to all examples. Wasn't it the Babylonians who used relocation as a method of maintaining peace? (I'm sure others did as well, I'm kinda hoping for a mini lecture here as my curiosity has been piqued :D)

Chinese Sinicizations of Tibet and Uighurstan

You assume that Tibet and Xinjiang are not a part of China and that the people living in those three areas have the same attitude towards their situations as the people of Israel and the West Bank.

There's plenty of differences, but I don't find it any more ligitimate than the former examples nor honorable. And despite what anyone says, they still are doing it.

USSR had to send Russian speaking people to all republics because there were not enough educated people there with education only available in Russian language. Russians were not considered a supreme race but they were similar to Indian workers in US - highly educated by limited in rights. This is quite different to Israeli Jewish supremacy policy.

The Soviet Union wasn't attacked by Lithuania, or Estonia, or Latvia, or....

Should Poland give back it's western side to Germany and in return get the eastern side back from Belarus? What about East Prussia?
