I'd quite happily emigrate to Scandinavia (I've done it before! I used to live in Denmark), but the weather SUCKS. I'll take snakes and spiders over snow when I want to be doing things any day. Don't get me wrong, I love the snow, but it's something you should have to drive a few hours in to the mountains to get, not have to shovel out of the way to get to the car in the morning :P

One of my motivations in going for my PhD is to be qualified enough to go back over for a few more years :)
