That may have worked better. He tried to claim that Obama mis-characterized his words and he cares about 100% of Americans. Hard to mis-characterize ones own words though.....falls short.

Romney wants me to blame Obama for things republicans caused then dragged their heels fixing. Oh yeah, and unwed mothers causes people to shoot automatic weapons or something.
