You cannot bill 40 hours a week of that sort of work. One or two hours a day, when you're young.

But just 12 hours a week still grosses $70,000. And that is providing only minimal services.

That sounds about right. You'll needs a herion habit to keep the sadness at bay, so that's 20,000 per year then you can live on the rest.

But really, 52 weeks of 12 billable hours is pretty unrealistic for that kind of work. You cannot keep it up.

That's figuring only 50 weeks. Two full weeks of vacation, albeit unpaid.

If it makes you sad, if you need heroin to do it, frankly you should find another line of work. On the other hand, a lot of middle class people work in thankless, soul crushing jobs 40 hours a week for a lot less than $70K.

Most of the people I've known who "sucked for a living", were strung out on something or another. I'm not sure which comes first.
