Something fun about diverse online communities is they have diverse online music interests. What are some bands you know of that you think aren't nearly as popular as they should be? Bands that you think are better than the mainstream fare but people haven't heard of?
We strongly encourage personal opinion and analysis, rather than posting a single link, or picture, copy-pasting some article or embedding a Youtube video, or plagiarizing someone else's article. This is generally considered low-quality and would in most cases be removed. Don't be so lazy, we're interested in your personal position! :)
I've gotten my wisdom teeth removed and that shit hurts.
Also, I took too much Vicodin last night and was very ill. I don't see how people do that recreationally!
So, what did everyone do for Halloween!?
I danced my ass off to Bassnectar on Saturday and then walked around as Poison Ivy and froze my ass off on Sunday. I also finally got video of me dancing because at Bassnectar I was in the back near this circle of liquid dancers, which was hilarious in and of itself, and people were taking video and they filmed me as well... which was interesting to see.
I should go have one of my wisdom teeth removed too, but can't find the time. My boss had her wisdom tooth removed on Wednesday and today it looks as if she never went to a dentist. I wanna have such gums...
LHC proton running for 2010 came to a successful conclusion at 8 a.m. today. All of the objectives for the LHC's first year of proton physics have been achieved and new ground has been explored. Now the LHC is moving on to a different mode of operation in which lead ions will be accelerated and brought into collision in the machine for the first time. This opens up an entirely new avenue of exploration for the LHC programme, probing matter as it would have been in the first instants of the Universe’s existence.
One of the main objectives for lead-ion running is to produce tiny quantities of such matter, which is known as Quark-Gluon Plasma, and to study its evolution into the kind of matter that makes up the Universe today. This exploration will shed further light on the properties of the Strong-Interaction, which binds Nature’s fundamental particles, called Quarks, into bigger objects such as protons and neutrons, which are themselves the building blocks of the atomic elements.

Do not answer this question! It is a trap! The punishment for talking politics on this thread is to be covered with chocolate and be given to 72 virgins to lick you until you die!
You know what's the simplest cooking recipe? It's called Tsiganska Banitsa, or Gypsy Pie (well actually the word doesn't mean exactly pie (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banitsa)).
So here it is.
- Take a slice of bread, not too thin. - Cover it with a spoon of cooking oil and spread it. - Toss some salt/savory & red pepper and smear it with your finger. - Enjoy.
It goes well with gherkins and ayran (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ayran).
I spent my childhood playing on the streets with a Tsiganska Banitsa in hand.
Just dropping an already much repeated opinion from around the internet:
AMC's "The Walking Dead" is off to a fantastic start. Not a huge zombie film fan, but the production values, the respect the characters are given and the level of acting indicate that this one that will be well worth following.
