Corruption is not a new concept. Shit happens and usually does. But what do you do with corruption so entrenched it's supported and protected?
Case in point Premier Golding hires American law firm to help protect "Jamaica's answer to Pablo Escobar", Christopher 'Dudus' Coke from extradition to American authorities. Since Golding's admission there are cries for his resignation.
Golding is no fool. He well understands that Dudus offers employment and the other option is starvation level poverty. It's a matter of doing the wrong thing for the right reasons or something like that. The support of the people is with him as the barricades indicate.
As Andre Dun told me, "well if u understand the situation in tivoli and what this man means to them u would understand why they barricade the place not saying that its right but this man has been the source of most if not all of them income in tivoli so u cant seh these people a chat fawt them protecting there own intrest after all what will they do after they are from "... See morethe wrong address group" so right now them belly full and dont need to move from where they are thats just facts when u and jamaica give these people an option other than to look to dons then u can tell the hungry people them to free up the barracks
This comes at a time as Canada's Prince of Pot awaits extradition to a USA jail. He is about to be martyred for a crime that isn't criminal in Canada. Again politics has gotten in the way of good sense. The punishment does not fit the crime.
