No, but he did live in the Boston metro area, and Bostonians are more likely than most other Americans to bike to work, regardless of income bracket. Seriously, biking 40 km is NOT as far as people think. It's just that people are freakin' lazy and modern Americans can't comprehend actually covering distance on their own power.
