Whatever strategy the Big Orange Head comes up with for the next 4 months, it's highly likely that he isn't going to get around the 800 pound Gorilla in the room. That is, no American sitting President who is running for re-election has succeeded during a major recession / depression.

This includes the WW2/Gulf War President Timberwolf who was much more affable than Cadet Bone Spurs. This goes even further back, to 1900. Taft, Hoover (considered the smartest of all ex-Presidents), Jimmy, George Dubya all failed to get re-elected.

With 20 million people and thousands of small businesses sitting empty, it's the long standing ethos that those unemployed will be at the polls in 4 months to vote for Uncle Joe. A sure indication is in the recent episode between The Liar in Chief and Sec. of Defense Mark Esper. Just a year ago, Esper's refusal to put troops into the streets against protesters would've meant he would have been fired in 24 hours. So why is Esper still in his job? Eh?

Think about it this way... Should the Big Baboon fire any of his cabinet level people who will come to replace them? If you are a hot-shot high paid CEO with lots of stock options, would you submit to an intensive Senate approval process which certainly will run through to October? And you have the fear that in just 3 weeks, Captain Chaos will be dumped and you are out the door. And the Screaming Carrot Demon has to walk very carefully now so that more inner circle executives don't leave and get on the evening news to dump on him like Mr Walrus has done, in the next 4 months.

Look, if we review the whole mess that his presidency has been, it all boils down to this. Tangerine Tornado made 2 big campaign promises: (1) "I will repeal Obamacare and give you something so much better and cheaper, and (2) a $1 trillion national infrastructure project.

If Sir Tiny Hand had delivered on those (instead of going off on the wall, on racism, on immigration, on all the junk) he'd be unbeatable now, but he's too irrational to do the stuff that'd define his presidency in a big way, even after promising to do it. Just as some men are led around and led astray by their phalluses, the Alpha Molester is led around and astray by his massive ego and raging narcissism. As the Old Book says, "Pride goeth before a fall, and a haughty spirit before destruction."

I wish we could have vid cams on Herr Adolf Twitler to see the narcissistic collapse that happens when he is defeated by Sleepy Joe (probably in a Reaganesque landslide), and escorted out of the White House by Marine MPs after refusing to leave voluntarily.

Yes... except GWB had two terms, whereas his dad only had one.

^I was just thinking that. We were arguably in a recession or poised for one when GWB got re-elected.

DAILY QUOTE:
"The NATO charter clearly says that any attack on a NATO member shall be treated, by all members, as an attack against all. So that means that, if we attack Greenland, we'll be obligated to go to war against ... ourselves! Gee, that's scary. You really don't want to go to war with the United States. They're insane!"
