My goodness, are there no minimum requirements to become president of the US? Is it really so that any TV reality show master or other comedian can become president? I understand Trump did his best to turn the presidential post into a farce, but could US citizens in November please remember the importance of that job and give it to somebody with a brain and some dignity?

On the other hand... Why not? Trump bought the title and this Kanye guy also has loads of money, the US will become an even bigger joke, they have one clown already so why not have a complete joker. After Trump no decent intelligent person would want the role anyway, he’s made it something not worth having. Sad the US was once a respected nation, now the laughing stock of the world.

By the way, there have been rumors that cadet Bone Spurs may not run because his ego could not stand the thumping he should get in November so maybe this is how they do it? Does anyone think that the basket of deplorables would vote for a black rapper? The soap opera reality show continues...

I'm not sure where Kanye is positioning himself. Who is his base exactly? Which votes is he supposed to be stealing? He's been a vocal Trump supporter, and yet people are saying his candidacy is a Trump plot to steal black votes from Biden. Honestly, I don't get it.

Also it's been pointed out that Kanye has an official, formal diagnosis of bipolar disorder, and as someone who myself has mental health issues, this stunt sounds like Kanye is having a manic episode.
