The action governor
11/4/20 19:17New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has been praised nationwide for his leadership tackling the coronavirus pandemic devastating his state. So much so, many have said he should consider a run for President.
A national poll found 56 percent of Democrats prefer Cuomo, with 44 percent wanting to stick with presumptive nominee Biden — a 12-point margin well outside the 4.8 percent margin of error for the Democratic sample.
While Biden has largely dropped out of sight during the pandemic, Cuomo has stepped up to the challenge, and is now being perceived as the "action governor". The Republicans are interpreting this as a sign that Biden is so weak that any other contender would beat him at this point - yet, the poll suggests they prefer Biden for Trump's opponent (probably for the same reason).
What say you? Even if it were possible to drop Biden (which it probably isn't), would you favor such a move? And would he stand a chance against Trump, or at least a better chance than Biden?
Or maybe it's best if he keeps his guns ready for 2024? Doesn't matter from his standpoint if Trump would run the show for another 4 years, or Biden would somehow win the presidency. In the latter case, Biden probably wouldn't run for re-election anyway.
What if Biden picks Cuomo for VP?
Anyway. Suggestions?

Date: 12/4/20 03:51 (UTC)Yes - and I don't see how this is even close. What the hell are those 44% thinking? Are we all talking about the same Joe Biden, or is there another one out there I'm not aware of that can convey complete thoughts with complete sentences?

Thank you New York Post, for outing yourselves yet again as a glorified blogroll.
