I'm curious as to what others are doing to prepare for what's coming. We're far from seeing the worse of this yet. I know that many have been stockpiling food and other non-perishables but I want to know what steps others are taking to help prevent the spread of this virus.

Here's my advice. Make a plan, a long-term one, for yourself and your family. God help everyone, I hope we can all survive this.

Working from home and not going out too much. I go to the park with the dog to go walking or running. I have to occasionally go meet with people, but we can keep our distance. I've done it for a week and it doesn't bother me too much, but then I'm a pretty dedicated introvert.

The kids are out of school until further notice. Their school is trying distance learning, which should keep them busy. There's always duct tape if that doesn't work. ;)

I didn't stock up much, but then I've always bought in bulk, so I always have quite a bit on hand. There are still big trucks delivering stuff to the store every day, so I can't see the concern there. Friends from China are offering to send me surgical masks, but I'd feel weird walking around with them here.
