I know, I know, freedom of speech and all that. But just imagine for a moment that Donnie's Twitter feed got shut down for a week for some reason. THE HORROR!

Although it might be worth the try. After all, it's down to a choice: Donnie's horror, or everyone else's? Cuz we've been witnessing this freak-show for way too long now. I mean, just take a look...

Oh, and btw there's a 50+ page booklet now being sold on Amazon that features a collection of Trump's worst (and fastest to be deleted) tweets:

I sometimes speculate what historians will think of this period.

I’m pretty sure a good few us already know what the historians of the future will think; especially if we know any historians of the present.

The Don’s legacy will go down in history; and Milady Clio will keep a special place for it as an example to set through the ages, as Trump himself would no doubt wish. He may have a problem with the er, um... moral to be drawn from the historical example, but that’s just fake analysis on my part... probably.

Alcohol does blunt the awfulness of it all somewhat; but I think this pain needs stronger analgesia. This is, after all, the era of the synthetic opioid crisis as well as the era of fake news.

Well yes. I have a general idea of what the historians of the future will think. I still have to wonder to what extent this disaster will unfold.

That is a correlation that is both awesome in its insight and disturbing in its facts.
