More people will be killed in the US falling out of bed than by terrorism.

Aren't motor vehicle deaths first and gun deaths second in the overall tally? I'd have to look it up. I think a good list of causes of premature death ranked according to numbers might be one of those things that, despite the First Amendment, just doesn't get the distribution it deserves. Yes you can say anything in America; but your bandwidth may be limited by other more important news like terrorists or Kardashians dominating the available space.

At a guess there's a website out there with the relevant info.
