This was Trump's golden chance to speak out against violence and tone down the unnecessary political rhetoric that fuels wingnuts like the mail bomber. When the outcome is an assassination attempt against two former United States Presidents, you know you've crossed over a line that never should have even been approached. Trump, had a chance to be a true President, and give the remarks any other President would give. Better yet, be a man.

He did have the chance to lead yesterday. A chance to be presidential. Instead, he made a few canned comments, held a rally, and blamed the press and his opponents. If it wasn't already clear to all, after yesterday, all should see that Trump is nothing more than a reality show host. He'll never be a true president.

But those who are giving him a free pass are even more disgusting.

This meme has a very specific set of purposes, chief of which is to deflect from the fact of a US domestic terrorist incident - likely of a right-wing kind given the targets so far attacked. Amazingly enough it appears that the folk doing this aren't Muslims either. Who would have thought that domestic terrorism in the US is pretty much a right-wing White thing?

I'd give the meme 6/10 for immediate humorous propaganda purposes. Gauging it's specific effectiveness will take more time. Needs more evil immigrants, obvs.

Nope, it's not Obama's fault that domestic terrorism is happening. It's partly Obama's fault that innocent people getting killed by bombs while they're sleeping at home, has been turned into a norm now. Partly because he not only didn't stop the practice, but actually intensified it. False equivalence or not, I can understand the sentiment.

The people of London cheered and enlisted when their country declared war on another country.

The people of Kandahar neither supported nor declared a war on a country that's now killing them in their homes.

You seem to be opposed to false equivalencies. So don't use them.

I hear a conspiracy theory being touted that Soros himself planted these bombs, including the one at his home, so he could make Republicans look even worse than they do now, just a few days before the election. A false flag operation of some sorts.
