Stop demonizing Trump supporters. Please? It doesn’t accomplish anything. Democrats like Warren and Sanders who take clear positions and fight for them are the way off this precipice.
Obama was a good president, but the no drama looked like giving up.
The deciding sector of the electorate that put Trump over the top voted for an arsonist who would burn an unresponsive system down. They expected exactly what they see, a political class being fed into a chipper. From the mulch may that rarest of creatures emerge, a Democratic Party with backbone.
Otherwise, the country will keep plunging down the abyss, until it becomes completely unrecognizable.
