Trump suggests separation of families at border is a negotiating tool

Colbert rips into 'evil' policy separating immigrant families: ‘It’s just plain wrong’

Hey, how about Leviticus 19:34 - "The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself." How dare Jeff Sessions use faith to support something so cruel. If they think that's what Jesus would support, they clearly don't know Jesus.?

But really, why would anyone be surprised? Southern white lawmakers used to cite the Bible to justify upholding the laws that kept slavery legal. This is no different.?

Another Sessions' idiocy is that the Bible says to follow any government, no matter how unjust it is! Imagine that used against the North Koreans, that they would be required to enforce that unjust and cruel regime and follow every of it's unjust laws.To say that the Bible supports the North Korean government because 'God' supposedly put it in power is a travesty against everything the Bible says.?

For years the Republicans have been blaming everything evil or wrong on Hillary, the Democrats, Obama, liberals and now they are dragging the Bible into it? Next they'll be talking about bringing back slavery - because it was in the Bible. One of the things Trump probably admires about Kim is how he solved his problem with political opponents by just tossing them along with their families into concentration camps.?

The United States has turned doing evil things into policy now, and is proudly bragging about it. Examples like these make my suspicion ever stronger that the US will eventually go down by the way of the Romans.

So they're erecting tents, like camp. And they want to concentrate all the immigrant children there.

That's interesting.

I went to church this morning and the bishop of the local diocese made his annual visit. He talked about this situation in his sermon, and urged all of us to stick together and oppose the illegal and immoral activity coming out of Washington. Seems this has been on the minds lately of so many people to whom I've spoken, including my immediate family. I'm right there with all of you. What in God's great name has this world come to? On a more positive note, happy Fathers' Day to all the dads out there including mine.

DAILY QUOTE:
"The NATO charter clearly says that any attack on a NATO member shall be treated, by all members, as an attack against all. So that means that, if we attack Greenland, we'll be obligated to go to war against ... ourselves! Gee, that's scary. You really don't want to go to war with the United States. They're insane!"
