Leicester City, the heavy underdogs who until last year used to dwell in the lower divisions of the English football league, have done the improbable. They've won the Premiership title - the first in their 130+ year long history. And they've done it without having a multi-billionaire donor to vouch for them. Without big world stars and famous names, without high salaries, without global merchandise support (that may change soon).

They've been the talk even across the Pond for a while, it seems. A place that proudly boasts of being the only place on Earth to not give a damn about "soccer". The Foxes have earned their respect even there, and even among the most devout fans of rival clubs.

They've done it, thanks to one thing. Amazing team spirit, hard work, being together in all hardships. And believing in themselves. And of course having a brilliant coach in Claudio Ranieri. It's a fairy tale come true. This is one of those moments that will remain forever in sports history, an achievement that deserves enormous respect and honour, no matter which team you're rooting for, or even if you care about this particular sport.

Well done, you awesome Foxes. You showed us all that money is not everything in the beautiful game! Spirit counts above all. And while we're about spirit... here's the piece that has kept you fired up throughout this amazing season. Really, very, VERY well done! Celebrate, you crazy East Midlanders. You totally deserve it. And this, from an actual Gooners fan :)

I love it when underdogs stick it to the big ones. Oh, and their triumphs tend to yield tremendous returns for those who have the guts to put some money on the underdog. I like that too.

Tottenham did very well, too.

DAILY QUOTE:
"The NATO charter clearly says that any attack on a NATO member shall be treated, by all members, as an attack against all. So that means that, if we attack Greenland, we'll be obligated to go to war against ... ourselves! Gee, that's scary. You really don't want to go to war with the United States. They're insane!"
