Abbot and Costello were funny. Steven Wright, yep, I will give you Carlin, since a lot of his stuff holds up. The rest (I'm not familiar with Black) most of their stuff is funny for the moment, genuinely funny, not so much.

The original point on this thread was pretty stupid ("leftists" don't get satire, because they're not logical), regardless of who you want to argue about is funny "for the moment,"or "for the ages."
