I certainly didn't. Actually, I'm not even certain it was Bush it seems like Cheney may have been directly responsible for many of the things people typically credit Bush for. But, TBH, I don't know. :X

I think Cheney probably had a lot to do with some of the more ambitious(/sinister?) aspects of The War Against Terror, but not the neglect of the banking and housing issues. Might have some words with Greenspan about that too actually.

Cheney was involved with the economic issues as well. That was cited by some of the government economic advisors he fired who complained about their economic policies(debt).
