Greetings, comrades and comradesses! Tovarisch Putin is at it again! He raising price of wodka again. In 2014, from January, the prise of half-litter bottle wodka will go up to 199 rubles (divide by 30 for dollar result)... GASP! And after August 1 of same year, it increase more: 220 rubles! This almost 1/5 increase, comrades! Can you imagine??

History of the Russia show that one thing Russian people never forgave their leaders: when try to screw around with their booze. Tzar Nicolay II try restrict booze and raise prices, just like what Putin doing now. In result, he became last Tzar ever and died in a storm of bullets somewhere in a forest along with whole family. So take the lesson, you Putin!

And then there is Gorbachev (THAT TRAITOR!) he probably was closet teetotaler so he impose Dry Law. And that was end of the Soviet Union as we know it - greatest geo political catastrophe of history! (Just ask tovarisch Putin he will tell).

...But at least that was beginning of Yeltsin. Good. He was fun.

Here he is seen yell to crowd "Ladies and gentlemens, I promise you today, we will drink as much booze as we fuckin want, whenever we want!" Big HOORAY from everybody!

OK, he probably didn't say that but you can imagine how gladly he would have. Because he understand importance of the wodka. One of many proofs for this:

Wodka is undeniable, the Russian's biggest friend. And one of Russian government's big sources of revenue (through taxes and excises and then more taxes).

Wodka will always be there because Russians will consume it no matter what... government, Church, party, Dear Leader, anyone be damned.

Although now one new challenger come because the new generations think to drink beer look more "cool" and Western. And don't believe them when they say they hate West. No, they don't. They say that only when Putin is listening.

But if you ask anyone who is not young (and there are many un-young people in Russia) - they will tell you wodka still number one.

Anyways! If one thing governments in Russia should learn by history... it is to keep hands off the booze! And they did that for most of the time in the history, because they knew what would follow if they touched it. They put thousands of soldiers in cold ground in wars after wars, throw millions in the GULags, work them till drop dead in mines for coal and diamonds and gas - fine! But you keep your damned government hands off the people's booze, or else!

Putin should watch out on this, I tell you, comrades! Be careful. He play with fire here. Push too much on the booze and he may get himself a little revolution on his hands before he know it. And no this is not one of those stupid color revolutions with no blood like in the funny Georgia and ridiculous The Ukraine. I talk a big Russian revolution, the Russian way! Bloody and merciless. With tanks and relentless soldiers ride on angry bears. And suddenly all Putin's crimes get deserved punishment.

So I say, hands off the booze before it's too late or you pretty much fucked!

This insight came to you by non-Russian expert on Russia... with help of little wodka.

Ps. Take this as early Friday. Because it already Friday in the Russia. I guess.

When Khan Krum embarked on a policy of uprooting wine-drinking in the First Bulgarian Empire, there was a major pushback against that measure.

A few years later, Bogomilism emerged on these lands, with all the profound effects that rippled across Europe.

Not saying Krum was to blame. Totally! I'M JUST SAYIN'!

That`s goddam right! High prices for boose can not and will not be tolerated! And this situation is vey strange. We all understand that old Mrs Putin never raised no fools. She would have plenty of reasons to be proud of her sonny. But here we can see that he`s digging a grave for himself with his own hands and a big shovel. Why?
One can assume that this desision is made behind Putin`s back by some Western agent, deeply rooted in Russian government. The plan is to start that bloody tide of Russian revolution that will sweep the tyrant`s rule. But this assumption is based on an erroneous thought that Putin can let someone make such decisions in secret from him (which is, of course, wrong - the dictator really controls all significant aspects of Russian political life). So, there must be some other reason. And there is!
Have you played "Sim City"? A game where you must build and develop your city? Of course, you have. There are options to summon Godzilla or to cause an earthquake, for example. When you use this option, a terrible disaster cripples your city. You have to use all your managing skills to resore and rebuild it... But you will get a lot of extra points and other bonuses when you suceed.
That`s the fiendish plan! Putin wants to bring Russia through revolution to ruins and then hopes to restore it and become the Saviour of the Nation... For there is no tyrant more dangerous than a tyrant loved by his slaves!
