Once again, we see that when right wing libertarians use the word "liberty," they're using their own extra-special definition of it. As Salon has pointed out reproductive freedom apparently isn't even entered into the calculations,

Women, you see, just don't count.

I actually am aware of what you were referencing.
And noticing the subsequent discussion further down in the post my point stands.
Altho to be fair, UL may have brought up Chili first, I didn't check all the times, my laziness, and if I'm wrong, I do apologize.

And in my case I actually represented Jeff's views accurately this time, though he's not the only one to have held that viewpoint. I seem to remember in fact a news article or something that talked about this phenomenon and viewed it as a prime example of how libertarianism, like all ideologies, doesn't work well in the real world.

I apologised. But I still think the whole Chili thing was a diversion/distraction from the original point of the post. OTOH it was a fair one, and perfectly within customary practices, hence my apology.

I intended the point to reflect a certain inconsistency in how freedom can be defined in different contexts, which is certainly apropos to the OP. The abortion factor is just one problem with inconsistent definitions in terms of how these people rate the concept.
