It still feels wierd to me knowing that the names on some huture memorial arn't just names.

Likewise while my papers mark me as a "disabled combat vet" (hearing loss and a piece of shrapnel) I always find myself comparing myself to friend of mine who came back mentally fucked and/or missing limbs and can't shake the feeling that I got off easy.

"to fight the enemy" ? making it so clear! it's a moral imperative that y'all gotta be over there. i dunno why (and i know the soldiers aint the ones demanding to be there) but it seems wrong that y'all occupy foreign nations.

occupy defensive structures at home. be safe. stay alive.

the troops are the tools of the problem. so respect to them, they do their duty. but the tool-holder wants us to believe the "fight the enemy" BS. i don't buy it. certainly not anymore.
