First thing on the OWS, a tribute to our fallen and injured veterans (makes sense since quite a few of the OWS supporters and protesters are participants) :-D

No Mexican food?! *crosses Canada off the list of countries to ever visit*

Even Argentina has Mexican food. (Luckily, since it's the only way to get spicy food around here.)

We have Mexican food here in Toronto. Although [livejournal.com profile] panookah will argue as to it's authenticity.

Ah "Survivor's Remorse" isn't it the pits?

On the other hand, there are always people like me who spent nearly a year in a war zone without even having to carry a weapon. Sometimes it's almost embarrassing to admit having been in Nam, knowing what some of my friend's went thru.

with no disrespect to the troops:

that macro is making war too black-and-white of an issue

"to fight the enemy" ? making it so clear! it's a moral imperative that y'all gotta be over there. i dunno why (and i know the soldiers aint the ones demanding to be there) but it seems wrong that y'all occupy foreign nations.

occupy defensive structures at home. be safe. stay alive.

the troops are the tools of the problem. so respect to them, they do their duty. but the tool-holder wants us to believe the "fight the enemy" BS. i don't buy it. certainly not anymore.

We have seen the enemy...

I saw two soldiers fighting the enemy just the other day. They had gotten drunk and had an argument over which would sleep with the prostitute first.

DAILY QUOTE:
"The NATO charter clearly says that any attack on a NATO member shall be treated, by all members, as an attack against all. So that means that, if we attack Greenland, we'll be obligated to go to war against ... ourselves! Gee, that's scary. You really don't want to go to war with the United States. They're insane!"
