I've often heard people saying they don't love their job particularly much, but since they've been pressed by the circumstances, they're compelled to keep doing it. Reality can be very different from our dreams, and we people like dreaming about better things than the ones we're having.
But sometimes, just sometimes, we really DO feel like we're in the right place, doing the right thing. Yes, there ARE people who love the job they're doing, whether because it's really an awesome job, or because they've somehow made themselves to believe that it's the right thing for them, or the best thing they could get at this point, or some other explanation that makes them feel more peaceful with themselves.
So my question is this. Actually two questions. Do YOU love your job? And if yes, what is it exactly that you love so much about it?
And because we're all about the Lulz right now... visual and/or audible material would be helpful to illustrate your point.
Me first!

Date: 11/11/11 12:22 (UTC)I consider myself ridiculously lucky. I loved the work I did at my last job and I'm doing similar work now. I hated my job because while I liked what I did, I hated management(except the managers I reported to directly; strangely enough) and I was woefully underpaid.
Now i'm making a pretty decent living and I have an awesome view of broadway out my window.

Once I got married, things changed a bit, but I still love the operation of Big Stuff.
