If you want to get people to listen to you, come up with some facts, rather than just gather like a rabble in the streets.

Is the SEC Covering Up Wall Street Crimes?

The widespread destruction of records was brought to the attention of Congress in July, when an SEC attorney named Darcy Flynn decided to blow the whistle. According to Flynn, who was responsible for helping to manage the commission's records, the SEC has been destroying records of preliminary investigations since at least 1993. After he alerted NARA to the problem, Flynn reports, senior staff at the SEC scrambled to hide the commission's improprieties.

Here is the kind of thing you can get angry about. The unfocused "anger" of people hanging around on Wall St. ("occupying" it, if you will) is just not really that productive. Getting a clear focus on what the problem actually is would help their cause significantly.

The People vs. Goldman Sachs

It's the same as trying to clean up any weed; go after a root, not just a bunch of stalks.

It's hilarious how you people fail to see the obvious parallel.

Tea Party "protesters" have no more idea what the hell they're actually protesting than do the people occupying Wall Street right now.

Or they may've skillfully tapped on some public sentiments that are very fashionable these days. Populism - a politician's best friend.

You're denying the obvious parallels between this movement and the start of the tea party, which seemed to be mostly made up of people in silly outfits? Or are you claiming the the tea party movement has had no influence on the political process?

Plenty of people wrote off the tea party as fringe lunatics until they started influencing the outcome of elections. People all over your country are angry with the status quo, and plenty of them want to have nothing to do with the tea party, it seems natural that a left wing equivalent would spring up.

See, it's so easy to deny something by just... well, denying it.

The fact is, you want it to not be true, therefore you'd try to un-true it by repeating 333 times "it ain't true". However, that trick only works in the Harry Potter books and treatises about parapsychology.

DAILY QUOTE:
"The NATO charter clearly says that any attack on a NATO member shall be treated, by all members, as an attack against all. So that means that, if we attack Greenland, we'll be obligated to go to war against ... ourselves! Gee, that's scary. You really don't want to go to war with the United States. They're insane!"
