While some topics do get repeated over certain periods of time, this one is pretty specific, as opposed to the "Religion, Morality, Sexuality, Ethics and the Family" that we had back in July.

Star Trek

The Redneckis could have a field day with Star Trek. It was a TV show that promoted multi-racial, multi-cultural coexistence at a time when race mixing was still attacked by the Klan.

ooooh, what an interesting theme! I know of several books/series I've read with strong political themes. It might be fun to do a review. (I know I keep saying I'll post stuff and never do...no promises, just a thought ;-;)
