Talk politics.

By Central Asia I meant other Turkic nations like Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. Add the Uighur area. Azerbaijan. Parts of trans-Caucasian Russia (Kalmykia, Abkhazia, Dagestan, Chechnya), parts of middle Russia (Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, etc etc). I'm not speaking of Afghanistan and the Taliban. But sure, they wouldn't trust what they'd see as a too secular regime.
