Yes, they are. Their generals in WWII tended to be a bit better at fighting the Germans than US ones were. Unlike the US ones they did not try to use Moar Dakka to fight and hope the firepower would do it all for them, hence they also did not take the rather high casualties US generals like Mark Clark did. Guy Simonds is one of the best and most underrated Allied Generals, IMHO.
