I didn't change the rules. I answered the exact question you asked. The USA's started in the 20th Century only the Haitian Interventions (looking at it today we did about as well as Britain did with Pakistan and Israel-Palestine) and Mexican Interventions. The two contemporary with WWI were tragifarces. I think the only "war" the USA won was the one against Grenada. And that wasn't a contest.
