The ones who are guilty rather than crazy I strongly suspect would gladly go for psychological therapy.
A few might, but then, they're almost certainly psychopaths. The world rearranges our minds everyday. People live in cults that warp their minds perfectly lawfully. Forcibly making people who are killers, not killers, hardly seems a terrible thing.
