Just once for a day trip to Colonia. My impression is that Uruguayans are more polite, humble and laid-back than Argentines, sort of like the difference between Americans and Canadians. I take it you'd be relocating as part of work and would, therefore, continue collecting a paycheck in dollars? If so, you'll be loving the exchange rate coupled with the lower cost of living.
