You missed the point. I was trying to illustrate that it is not the idea of animal stewardship which is the cause for abuse itself, but its malignant interpretation.
Clearly people can accept a benevolent servile role for animals while remaining horrified at abuses. That is the idea which the groups I mention still have problems with. The servile part.
