I understand the reason why people are this way. I don't find people less responsible when they fail to keep their human nature in check, which is why whether it's Bush or FDR, if I encounter someone of the unquestioning mindset, and the conversation presents itself, I will endeavor the attempt to burst the bubble in the hope that they too will be more wary of this kind of transferrence.
