also, to be remembered, the US went successful out of WWII, as winners and saviors, while Bush's campaigns didn't do such a blatant savior act. Probably a big factor on how these men are viewed differently afterward.
Still, as I said, it *does* absolutely make sense to compare FDR and Bush in some aspects, so on that we agree.
