I'm going to take it that you don't know much about our history as far as the rest of the American continent south of the Rio Grande is concerned and leave it at that. It's directly comparable to blaming nebulous Europeans for this as compared to say, US responsibility for not preventing the two Congo Wars given Sese Seko was our puppet.
